YOUR COMPANY'S VIRTUAL MARKETING OFFICER
Some people describe me as a VMO or Virtual Marketing Officer. I work directly with business owners, managers and/or other staff members depending on the delegation of roles and responsibilities within the company. The types of businesses I assist is varied and from a wide range of industries, although they all have one thing in common – they’re struggling with one or more aspects of their marketing.
My approach is to first take some time to learn about your business and understand your marketing goals, your frustrations and what resources you have to work with. Through this I will determine how best to support you and what areas I can bring the most value to. This can be different for each business however I can tailor my support accordingly.
INDEPENDENT & EXPERIENCED
I’m an independent consultant, meaning I don’t have any vested interest in pushing people towards any particular type of media and I will only make marketing recommendations that I believe will benefit your business. Put simply, success for me is seeing your business succeed.
My experience and capabilities cover everything you’d expect a modern marketing consultant to have. I don’t believe in locking anyone into long term contracts. I want to guide and support your business for long enough so that meaningful change and improvement to your marketing occurs, however you can stop at any time without penalty.
THE CASE FOR OUTSOURCED MARKETING
Outsourcing your marketing makes a lot of business sense. Most New Zealand companies can’t justify the cost of employing a Marketing Manager or even an Intermediate-level Marketer, so it often falls on a Sales Manager or Business owner to put the marketing hat on (along with a number of other hats they’re constantly swapping out).
