IS A MARKETING REVIEW & AUDIT RIGHT FOR ME?

 

My marketing reviews and audits tend to be for businesses that have been going for a while, whether that be five years or twenty. These businesses have done a sufficient level of strategic work and do not require a full marketing plan, however they do want someone to come in and take a look at what they’ve been doing and give them independent, expert analysis.

HOW DOES A MARKETING REVIEW & AUDIT WORK?

The scope of my marketing reviews and audits can vary depending on a client’s objectives and the nature of their business, however they will always contain the following three things:

 

1. RESEARCH

 

I’ll spend time asking you a range of questions to get a clear picture of your business, including where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you want to go. Through this I’ll get a really good sense of where you’re at in your marketing journey and what the businesses strengths are.

 

I may also ask you for access to any digital platforms which are relevant to your current marketing activity, such as Google Analytics and your social media accounts.

 

2. INSIGHTS & ACTION FORMULATION

 

By combining clear data with my knowledge of strategic marketing principals and experience with modern marketing tools, I will start uncovering insights about your company’s marketing. Using these insights I’ll note down areas for improvement and any action points that I think you should focus on.  

 

3. PRESENT FINDINGS

 

Once I have completed the research and developed my insights, we’ll meet up so I can present my findings. After the marketing review and audit is completed it’s up to you as to what you want to do next. You can either take the findings to implement them yourself, or you might engage me to provide marketing consultancy services to help you take your marketing to another level.
